Klur ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights when you use the Klur app.
Anonymous identifier. When you open the app for the first time, we automatically create an anonymous account using a randomly generated ID. We never ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information. No sign-up is required.
Photos you submit. When you use the scan feature, you upload a photo which is transmitted securely to our AI analysis provider (Anthropic) for processing. The photo is analyzed in real time and then discarded — Klur does not store your original photos.
Analysis results. The text results of your scan (color season, face shape, style archetype, etc.) are stored in our database, associated with your anonymous ID, so you can access them later in the app.
Purchase information. If you make a purchase, Apple and RevenueCat process and record the transaction. We receive confirmation of your purchase status only — we never see your payment card details.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not build advertising profiles.
Your photo is processed solely to produce beauty and style recommendations. Klur does not store your photos, does not use facial recognition to identify you, and does not create or retain biometric templates or facial geometry data. The AI analysis returns text only — your image is not retained after processing.
Analysis outputs including heritage estimates, age estimates, and face shape assessments are algorithmic interpretations for entertainment and style inspiration purposes only. They are not genetic analysis, medical assessment, or factual determinations.
Klur uses the following third-party services to operate:
Your anonymous account and scan results are retained until you delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile tab in the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Because your account is anonymous, we have no way to verify your identity outside the app. Account deletion must be initiated through the app. If you lose access to your device, contact us at privacy@klur.app and we will work with you to resolve it.
Klur is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, contact us at privacy@klur.app and we will delete the associated data.
California (CCPA). California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion. Because our accounts are fully anonymous, we do not collect personal information as defined by the CCPA. You can delete all data associated with your anonymous account directly through the app.
European users (GDPR). If you are located in the European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing your data is the performance of the service you have requested. You may request deletion of your data at any time through the app or by contacting privacy@klur.app.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Our infrastructure is hosted on Supabase, which uses industry-standard security practices. Because accounts are anonymous, your data cannot be linked to your real identity even by us.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
